"Nature's Gate" is more of a symbolic name than anything else. After my trip to the north of a country, I witnessed some very inspiring and picturesque scenes that captured my heart forever. Of course I couldn't paint a painting without some mystery, so I decided to paint a cave or something that could act as a gate to the underwater/ground world. Behind the clifs, storm is gathering as clouds come together. Painting seems to suggest that if a piligrim decides not to enter nature's gate, he will experience the turbulence of a storm.
