Medium: watercolors
Size: 60 cm x 75 cm
"Klondike: Gold Rush" is meticulously painted watercolors. It's aim is to show the loneliness that nature has to offer to people, who are willing to throw everything behind them, in order to strike rich. I used empty or white space to show that loneliness. But on the other hand, "Klondike: Gold Rush" also reveals how tranquil nature can be, how calm it can get. So, in a sense, I find this watercolors very therapeutic and soothing.
