Protectoresse of the Ukrainian people
$400Medium: Oil on CanvasSize: 40 cm x 140 cm
This painting was inspired by the Orange Revolution and orange flags and ribons. Woman on the painting is an allegorical figure that represnts core values of the Ukrainian family. She is weaving orange thread, out of which cloth for flags and ribons was made. Her posture and determined gaze are symbolic and they meant to show how strong and determined she is, how if necessary she is willing to sacrafice herself for the benefit of the whole.
