This is my first ever political cartoon. Cartoons are so much fun! I am not affiliated in any shape or form to this robocall issue, so I am commenting on it as a freelance artist and citizen observer.

- I’m proud to say that I was born in Ukraine. There I had attended my first art classes that exposed me to Romanticism and Impressionism. In Ukraine, I was also exposed to my favorite medium-Watercolors. To my friends, I often say that watercolors are just like my second nature because they are just as light and calm like me. But be ware!, they are unforgiving. I won’t kid you: I can’t paint watercolors with laid-back temper. I have to be pro-active and fully engaged to paint transcending watercolors. My background in Romantic Art helps me a lot in imagining picturesque scenes with hidden sublime messages. Sublimity, grotesqueness can be just as revealing about nature as beauty and symmetry. Color and light are elements to which I pay close attention, too. Without them there is no good art. I try to paint esthetically pleasing paintings that combine with right colors, soft lines and use of space to show what we don’t usually expect to see in ordinary things. In my Abstract Art, I use the same principles but instead of revealing unexpected, I paint the fast fleeting moments of my life. I hope you can enjoy it.
